About coepiphany

Who & Why
I'm Max, and I created Coepiphany, because:
  • 🚀
Video has grown as the most engaging communication device for decades. Businesses that do a good job with videos thrive. Every major social media platform has embraced video, and there are no signs that this trend will change soon.
  • 🏆
Creating outstanding videos requires superior expertise and strategy, which can be hard to build. Countless brands and creators are trying to get amazing stories across but they lack expertise. They (and their customers) deserve better.
  • 🤦
Current freelancing marketplaces are unsuitable for top professionals and bold brands/creators.
Now
To build Coepiphany, I stick to the following Design Principles:
  • 💎
Curation: working toward building an exceptional community with bold brands/creators and highly skilled storytellers.
  • 🤍
Minimalism: uncovering, shaping, and delivering only what matters.
  • 🚀
Good business: impactful for clients, financially and professionally rewarding for pros, and a thriving business in itself.
The short-term roadmap can be summarized as:
  • Building Coepiphany's platform.
  • Bringing professionals in.
  • Bringing clients and jobs in (soon).
3D assets on the homepage were built based on the work of aronvane, and kamilkoziel.
Legal stuff
As we are an independent small company, we still need to pay a legal person to create this for us - and even so, this is different from social media with crazy-long small-letter Terms & Conditions documents. In this sense, Coepiphany is more like a physical store. You don't need Terms & Conditions to know what is reasonable and good.
But in a few words, we can assure you:
  • We don't sell or share your data.
  • We only use well-established, high-quality service providers with good security infrastructure, like Google, Webflow, and Airtable.
  • We focus on promoting a positive environment for our customers - so we don't tolerate attacks, prejudice, misleading behavior, etc. If we ban someone from this platform, we mean it.
  • It's impossible for Coepiphany, as for most businesses, to double-check whether what customers say about themselves is true. E.g., LinkedIn won't double-check the outcomes of a project someone is posting about. We have a few things in place and count on you to let us know if there's anything suspicious or deceiving. Above all, we count on you to be transparent and honest with other members of this platform.
